Caitlin + Jacob are living proof that distance does indeed make the heart grow fonder. Having first met while attending Dowling College, they soon realized they couldn’t imagine spending time or sharing their lives with anyone else. After graduation, Jacob moved home to Canada but they knew they were nowhere near done; this was just the beginning and that the best was yet to come! Caitlin + Jacob made the commitment to a long distance relationship, all the while making plans and dreaming about the future they’d one day share. Seven blissful years of dating, living in two countries, and three postponed wedding dates later, we are so happy that these two are finally living their happily ever after as husband + wife!
Caitlin + Jacob’s gorgeous summer wedding started with a ceremony at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Syosset and then it was off to The Fox Hollow for an evening of celebration with their beautiful families and friends! Caitlin + Jacob, you two are a true testament to what love has the potential to become — it’s not always going to be easy, but if you hold on tight, oh what an adventure love can be!
