When Becca met Derek, she was a little over a month away from leaving the country to teach in South Korea for a year. She at first dismissed the notion of a romantic connection, but when they met for a second time, this time on Fire Island, she could not deny the chemistry. Their first date was just six days before she left the country for an entire year, and they managed to squeeze in three more before her flight. Since then, Becca + Derek have been inseparable, despite their first year of dating being spent nearly 7,000 miles and 14 times zones apart.
Becca + Derek’s May wedding day was a beautiful celebration of everything that makes their relationship so special. From their ceremony at Saint Mary’s Church in East Islip to their creative session at Argyle Park in Babylon and their waterside reception at The Piermont, we had such a blast capturing all of the wonderful moments that made up their perfect day.
