Nicole and Hector’s Wedding at Larkfield

True love – that gorgeous feeling that knocks you off your feet and slowly plays the soundtrack to your life every time you kiss – is everything. It makes your heart skip beats, your world views expand, and your memories become precious slices of time – meant to be held on to forever. Finding the person that you can connect with through every high and low, every loss and every victory, is no easy feat – but when fate finally brings you together, the results are electrifying, sending sparks through your fingertips and into the universe. From the beginning, Nicole and Hector knew they had found their soulmate. Every sign they passed pointed them towards a beautiful forever, and every moment they spent together felt fuller and brighter – different than any love they’d ever felt before. Their smiles were contagious, and each time they looked at each other, they burst into a fit of laughs, truly solidifying how perfectly they fit together. Nicole and Hector – we wish you a million more Hollywood smiles and love! We were so honored to capture the beginning of your latest adventure at Larkfield, and we can’t wait to see all the beautiful memories you two create as husband and wife. Congratulations! Nicole and Doug’s Wedding at Stonebridge Country Club

Nicole and Doug’s Wedding at Stonebridge Country Club

Veteran’s Day is an extremely important date in our country’s history. It signifies a celebration of patriotism, love of country, and the willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. Nicole and Doug’s November 11th wedding was incredibly significant for this reason – Doug is a Marine vet, after all! – and throughout the emotional speeches, tender moments, and sweet embraces emerged something beautiful: the realization that together, these two will storm the beaches of love, and create the most beautiful memories possible. One of the most incredible parts of the day was Nicole and Doug’s emotional first look. Nicole had never seen Doug in his dress blues, so the reveal was really for both of them! When Doug turned to face his bride, and they caught each others eye in the warm, golden light, the two of them absolutely glittered with admiration and respect for one another. Every moment shared between them was so flawless and so organic that, truly, words could never do it justice. Nicole and Doug, we wish you so much love and happiness in your lives together. Thank you so much for your service, and for allowing us to be part of your journey in love. Congratulations! Five Videography Myths, Debunked!

Five Videography Myths, Debunked!

Wedding planning is so exhausting, and it can seem like a ton of work for one whirlwind of a day – believe us, we get it! But why spend time planning the perfect party if you won’t get to relive the words of wisdom your friends and family share exactly as they were spoken!? Yes, photos are incredible, and we work with tons of amazing professionals on your special day, but video preserves the visual elements, the rollercoaster of emotions, and the soundtrack to your first day as Mr. and Mrs. in a way photography can’t possible capture. Over the years, we’ve encountered hundreds of misconceptions about what we do as videographers, so we thought it might be fun to interview John Bilski, the owner and creative force behind Bilski Productions, and ask him to debunk a few of the myths that seem to hold couples back from choosing to have a video team on their wedding day! Kaitlyn Ferris Photography Myth 1: VIDEOGRAPHERS ARE OBTRUSIVE, AND WILL ONLY GET IN THE WAY. “Once upon a time, videographers would be in your way at seemingly every step you took, but not anymore! We make sure to blend into the background as much as possible during your special moments (such as the ceremony, the speeches, and your first dance) by tweaking the way things used to be done. Now, we use off-camera lighting to preserve the ambience of the room and utilize longer lenses, which allow us to keep our distance during those intimate moments with your new spouse. Our goal is to capture as many natural moments as possible, not ruin the special seconds you share with your favorite people!”...
